Alua Golf Trinidad Hotel Roquetas de Mar, Roquetas de Mar

The hotel is in a great location right on the beach, with lots of nearby shops and restaurants. The rooms were a bit disappointing with unclean walls and poor showers, but the food catered more towards Spanish guests was a plus. The service, while sometimes rude, had hard-working staff and nightly entertainment. Be aware of strict rules around the pool area.

I had such a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, while recently refurbished, were very basic, but our suite for two was surprisingly spacious with two balconies, one even had a sunbed which was a nice touch. The restaurant was lovely, perfect for sharing meals with family or new friends.

The hotel room wasn't ready when we arrived, but we were invited to sit outside and have a drink. The pool area was busy with families, although the loud disco music was unexpected. Despite that, the room was spotless, large, and modern with a comfortable bed and reasonable English-speaking TV channels. It's perfect for families during children's school holidays.
